OPPO A15 with Helio P35 chipset and triple cameras launched in India for Rs 10,990

In August, OPPO announced the OPPO A53 mid-range phone smartphone in India. Today, the brand has launched a new A-series smartphone called the OPPO A15 in the country, which is a budget device.

The OPPO A15 features a square-shaped triple rear camera module and a waterdrop notch display. It is powered by the dated Helio P35 chipset and comes with a large battery. It will go up against the POCO M2, Realme C15 and more in India.

The OPPO A15 comes with an AI-driven 13-megapixel triple camera setup

The OPPO A15 smartphone houses a waterdrop notch display measuring 6.52-inches. It offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The notch houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

The rear panel of the OPPO A15 is fitted with a square-shaped camera module and a fingerprint sensor. The camera setup includes a 13-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and 3GB of RAM fuels the OPPO A15. There’s 32GB of internal storage on offer, with a microSD card slot for further expansion. The OPPO A15 boots ColorOS 7.2 based Android 10 and it is loaded with a 4,230mAh battery. Being an entry-level device, it comes with only 10W charging support. The A15 offers other features such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro-USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

OPPO A15 price in India

The OPPO A15 is priced at Rs 10,990 in India and it comes in Dynamic Black and Mystery Blue colours. The device will be available soon, although the exact date has not been announced yet.
