OPPO A1K price in India dropped again; now available from Rs 7,490

Earlier in April, OPPO expanded its range of A series smartphones in India by launching the OPPO A1K. Two months after the launch, the company permanently dropped the price of the smartphone by Rs 500. Today, the Chinese tech giant has announced yet another permanent price cut on the OPPO A1K in the country. The phone is now available for Rs 7,490, after a price drop of Rs 500. Notably, the OPPO A1K was originally launched in India for Rs 8,490, and it has received a total price cut of Rs 1,000 in the country so far.

The OPPO A1K is an entry-level smartphone with a waterdrop notch, minimal bezels around the screen, and a single primary camera at the rear. The oval camera module of the handset is surrounded by a gold finish that gives it a premium look. The phone comes with a 6.1-inch display bearing a resolution of 1,560 x 720 pixels, and boots Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6 out of the box.

In the camera department, the OPPO A1K features an 8MP snapper with an aperture of f/2.2 and an LED flash unit. On the front, there’s a 5MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture that’s housed inside the waterdrop notch above the screen. Under the hood, the handset has a MediaTek MT6762R processor, which is accompanied by an IMG GE8320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable storage. In the connectivity segment, the OPPO A1K offers dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a micro-USB port, and A-GPS. A 4,000mAh battery keeps the whole show running. The handset is being offered in Red and Black colour variants.

Before the OPPO A1K, the company recently also dropped the price of the OPPO A5 2020 smartphone. After a price drop of Rs 500, the phone is being offered for Rs 11,990 for the base variant with 3GB of RAM and Rs 13,990 for the higher-end 4GB RAM model.
