OPPO A31 with 6.5-inch display and triple rear cameras launching in India next week

Last week, OPPO introduced its latest A series smartphone called the OPPO A31 in Indonesia. Now, the company is planning to launch the handset in the Indian market. According to a report by 91mobiles, the OPPO A31 will be launched in the country at some point next week. The promo image shared by the source also suggests that the OPPO A31 will be available with a five percent cashback from purchases made via ICICI and YES Bank credit / debit cards and up to 3.1TB of free data from Jio. Also, there will be zero down payment options from Bajaj Finserv.

The OPPO A31 will be arriving in India as an affordable offering with a waterdrop notch above the screen, narrow bezels, a triple camera module on the back, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In Indonesia, the device is available in a single variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, in India, the handset will be offered in two RAM and storage variants including 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB, suggests the source.

Talking about the other specs, the OPPO A31 offers a 6.5-inch display bearing a resolution of 1,600 x 700 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor. Software-wise, the device boots ColorOS 6.1, which is based on Android 9 Pie. At the rear, the device as a 12MP main sensor with PDAF, which is aided by a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and A-GPS with GLONASS. A 4,230mAh battery keeps the whole package running.

OPPO A31 price in India

The source has not revealed the price of the OPPO A31 for India at the moment. In Indonesia, the phone is available for around Rs 13,600 for the base variant. We will update you soon as soon as we learn more about the Indian availability of the device.
