Last month, OPPO announced the OPPO A53 in Indonesia. The phone debuted in India soon after. In India, the OPPO A53 carries a starting price of Rs 12,990. The same phone has gone official in China as OPPO A32.
The OPPO A32 is a budget-friendly smartphone that offers users a display with a high refresh rate. The device is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 460 chipset from Qualcomm. It also features a punch-hole display, large battery and fast charging support.
OPPO A32 specifications and features
The OPPO A32 has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen with 720 x 1,600 pixels HD+ resolution. The punch-hole screen features a 90Hz refresh rate, 120H touch sampling rate and is also equipped with support for Widevine L1 that allows users to streaming content in Netflix, Prime Video and more in HD.
The Snapdragon 460 mobile platform powers the OPPO A32 smartphone with up to 8GB of RAM. The device offers 128GB of internal storage, and it also carries support for a microSD card slot for additional storage. The phone runs ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10.
The smartphone features a 16-megapixel camera for capturing selfies. It has triple rear cameras that comprises a 13-megapixel primary shooter, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The handset is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through USB-C. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
OPPO A32 pricing and availability
The OPPO A32 has been launched in 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variants. They are priced at RMB 1,199 (~Rs 12,900) and RMB 1,499 (~Rs 16,100) respectively. The smartphone comes in three colour options – Mint Green, Fantasy Blue, and Glass Black.
