OPPO A38 spotted on Geekbench database ahead of September launch

OPPO is gearing up to expand its A series lineup with the launch of its new A38 smartphone. It is expected to arrive in September. Recently key specifications and renders of the device were leaked online. Today the team at Pricebaba spotted the OPPO A38 on the popular Geekbench database with the CPH 2579 model number.

The smartphone scored 431 in single-core tests and 1340 in multi-core tests. The Geekbench listing confirmed the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 4GB RAM, and Android 13.

OPPO A38 Expected Specifications

The OPPO A38 is expected to flaunt a 6.56-inch LCD waterdrop notch display with an HD+ resolution of 1,612 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to pack a 5,000mAh battery, with a USB Type-C charging port.

Regarding optics, the smartphone is likely to house a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it is expected to feature a 5MP selfie camera. In terms of connectivity the device is said to pack a microSD card slot, dual nano-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
