OPPO A5 2020 6GB RAM variant launched in India for Rs 14,999

Earlier in September, OPPO introduced its latest A series smartphone called the OPPO A5 2020 in India. The smartphone arrived as a budget offering with a waterdrop notch above the screen and a quad primary camera setup at the rear. The OPPO A5 2020 was made available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. Today, the Chinese tech giant has launched the third memory model of the smartphone with 6GB of RAM. The new OPPO A5 2020 variant will be available via major brick and mortar stores across the country. While the earlier models of the device offer 64GB of storage, the new version comes with a whopping 128GB of internal storage.

OPPO A5 2020 is a budget offering with quad rear cameras

The OPPO A5 2020 comes with a 6.5-inch display bearing a resolution of 1,600 x 700 pixels, and boots ColorOS 6.0.1 that’s based on Android 9 Pie. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor, which is aided by the Adreno 610 graphics. Design-wise, the smartphone comes with minimal bezels on the sides and a slim chin, and a fingerprint sensor that’s located at the rear below the primary camera setup.

For imaging, the OPPO A5 2020 comes with a 12MP primary camera on the back with an aperture of f/1.8. The main sensor is accompanied by an 8MP secondary snapper and a couple of 2MP cameras. For selfies and video calling, the handset offers an 8MP camera that’s housed inside the waterdrop notch above the screen. For connectivity, the device offers 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB OTG, and A-GPS with GLONASS. A 5,000mAh battery and Dolby Atmos-powered speakers complete the list of specifications.

OPPO A5 2020 price in India

The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage-toting variant of the OPPO A5 2020 has been priced at Rs 14,990. The handset’s earlier 3GB and 4GB RAM models are currently retailing for Rs 11,990 and Rs 13,990 respectively.
