OPPO launched a number of A-series of mid-range phones in China recently, including the OPPO A92s and OPPO A52. The latter comes with massive 5,000mAh battery and quad-cameras on the rear panel as its key highlights. The company has now launched the phone in India.

While the smartphone is offered with 8GB RAM in China, in India OPPO has only launched a 6GB RAM variant, while bumping up the selfie camera resolution as well. All other specifications of the smartphone remain the same as its Chinese counterpart.
OPPO A52 specifications and features
The OPPO A52 ships with a 6.5-inch display with a punch-hole cutout and 2,400 x 1,080 pixels screen resolution. The display offers a screen-to-body ratio of 90.5 percent. Driving the performance of the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC backed by 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the smartphone features a quad camera setup on the back. The 12MP primary sensor is backed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel macro lens and 2-megapixel portrait lens. OPPO has upgraded the 8-megapixel sensor on the front to 16-megapixels in the Indian market.
The smartphone boots the proprietary Color OS 7.1 based on Android 10 out of the box and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
OPPO A52 price in India
OPPO is offering the A52 in two colours – Twilight Black and Stream White. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 16,990 and will go on sale starting June 17th. The handset will be available from leading online and offline retailers in the country. As part of the introductory offer, OPPO is offering 5 percent cashback on payments made through Bank of Baroda credit cards EMI and Federal Bank debit card EMI.
