OPPO is on a serious launching spree lately when it comes to its A-series of mid-range smartphones. The brand listed OPPO A92s on its official website in China, and the OPPO A72 was also spotted by Pricebaba in a Google Play Console listing. Notably, the A72 will sit below the A92s in the line-up and is yet to launch. The next in series is the OPPO A52, which was spotted in a number of leaks earlier today. Now, the brand has gone ahead and launched the A52 in its home market. Here’s what the smartphone offers in term of specifications.
OPPO A52 specifications and features
The OPPO A52 comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a single punch-hole cutout. Ticking at the core of the smartphone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with Adreno 610 GPU. The processor is further backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. In the software department, the handset boots ColorOS 7.1 based on the latest Android 10. Powering the device is a beefy 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
Coming to the cameras, the OPPO A52 flaunts a quad-camera setup on the back comprising of a 12MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. The punch-hole cutout on the front houses an f/2.0 8MP shooter for selfies and video calling. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth GPS and USB Type-C.
OPPO A52 pricing and availability
OPPO is offering the A52 in China in two colour variants – Black and Blue. The handset has been priced at RMB 1,599 (~Rs 17,300). The smartphone is already up for pre-orders in China on the official online store of the brand.
