OPPO is known for offering budget smartphones through its A-series line-up. Earlier today, a dedicated landing page for a new device called the OPPO A15 was spotted on the Amazon India website. Now, the brand has confirmed the launch of the device in the country.
OPPO has not revealed many details about the device and has also kept the exact launch date of the smartphone under the wraps. However, we can expect the smartphone to go official very soon and with a competitive price tag. The brand has also shared the design of the smartphone in a teaser image, giving us a glimpse of the back panel.
OPPO A15 India launch announced
The OPPO A15 has not been in the news much and as such, not many details about the device are available at the moment. OPPO has announced that the upcoming smartphone will be “a design marvel that is sleek and smart“, will have a large screen and a 3D curved body. The brand goes on to claim that the A15 will offer “supreme features” and “smart performance” in the pocket-friendly segment.
OPPO has also shared the renders of the smartphone, where we can see the rear panel of the handset. The 3D curved design is apparent from the image. We can also see the rear fingerprint scanner and a square camera module in the top left corner. The camera module is seen housing a triple camera setup with an LED flash.
Recently, an OPPO device was spotted on the website of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with the model number OPPO CPH2185. The rear panel diagram spotted on the FCC is similar to the render shared by the brand. The FCC listing revealed that the smartphone will feature a 4,230mAh battery with 10W charging and ColorOS 7.2. However, as of now, it’s not clear if the OPPO CPH2185 is indeed the A15.
