The OPPO A53 is now available with a price cut of up to Rs 2,500 at offline stores, as per a report by 91mobiles. The handset was announced back in August 2020 at a starting price of Rs 12,990. With the new price cut, it can be bought for a starting price of Rs 10,990.

The OPPO A53 is a budget-friendly smartphone that offers users a high refresh rate display, a massive battery with fast charge support, and 13-megapixel triple rear cameras. Earlier this month, OPPO unveiled the OPPO A54 as its successor.

At launch, the OPPO A53 was priced at Rs 12,990 and Rs 15,490 for 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants. With a price drop of Rs 2,000, the 4GB RAM variant is now available for Rs 12,990, whereas the 6GB RAM model is selling for Rs 12,990 after a price cut of Rs 2,500. The OPPO A53 with revised pricing is available at offline stores across the country. The new pricing is yet to reflect online.

The OPPO A53 has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display that delivers a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset draws power from the Snapdragon 460 mobile platform, LPDDR4x RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging through USB Type-C.

It has a 16MP selfie camera and its rear-facing camera unit has a 13-megapixel primary shooter, a 2-megaixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The device runs ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10. It features a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
