OPPO A55 India launch date has been seemingly revealed. A landing page for a new A-series OPPO smartphone has appeared on Amazon India. This phone is scheduled to go official on October 1st in the country.
A couple of reports have revealed that OPPO is working on the A55 4G smartphone for India. 91mobiles and reputed tipster Evan Blass have recently shared leaked renders of the smartphone. One of the teaser images available on Amazon matches with the leaked renders, which indicates that the OPPO A55 4G is likely to go official on October 1st.
OPPO A55 4G launch date revealed
The above-shown teaser shows the upcoming A-series phone in blue color. It can be also seen sporting a 50-megapixel dual camera setup. These clues are a clear giveaway that OPPO’s next A-series will be the A55 smartphone.
Like the other A-series smartphones, the A55 is expected to sport a sleek design and several colour options. It will come with a “whopping camera” as per the teaser page. It will be housing a large-sized battery that will offer all-day performance.

Shown above is a leaked render of the OPPO A55 4G. It shows that the smartphone will be available in colours like black, green, and gradient blue. At the front, it features a punch-hole panel display with a noticeable chin. Its right edge has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and its back panel features a 50-megapixel dual camera setup.
Unfortunately, there is no information on the specifications of the OPPO A55 smartphone. However, it has been learned through certification sites that it could be packed with a 5,000mAh battery, which support 18W fast charging.
The OPPO A55 will be replacing the OPPO A54 that went official earlier this year. The A54 has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD HD+ display, Helio P35 chipset, up to 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of native storage, 13-megapixel triple cameras, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging.
