OPPO A78 5G India launch date has been tipped in a new report by Appuals. The report has revealed the price range and specifications of the device. In addition, it has also released live shots of the A78.

The OPPO A78 5G is expected to succeed the OPPO A77 5G, which debuted in Thailand in June 2022. The A77 5G did not release in India, but its 4G version was made available in the country. According to the publication, the OPPO A78 5G will launch on January 14th, 2023. This indicates that the company may release an official confirmation of its arrival in the next few days.

The OPPO A78 5G will be aimed at the offline market in India. Its base model could be priced between Rs 18,500 and Rs 19,000. The above-shown live shot has revealed the key specifications of the device, such as the display size, processor, RAM, virtual RAM, storage, cameras, and battery size. It also reveals that the OPPO device with the CPH2495 model number will break the cover as the OPPO A78 5G. Unfortunately, it has not revealed the front and rear designs of the device.

The above image reveals that the OPPO A78 5G has a 6.6-inch display and packs a 5,000mAh battery. The device is powered by the Dimensity 700 chipset, which is coupled with 8GB of RAM, 4GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.

On the front, it will have an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel of the device will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth / macro snapper. The phone will run on the ColorOS 13-based Android 13 OS and have support for 18W fast charging for its 5,000mAh battery.
