OPPO A7n With Helio P35 and 16MP Selfie Camera Announced in China

The OPPO A7n is the latest A-series smartphone to go official in China. In March, the Chinese manufacturer had launched the OPPO A5s smartphone. The newly announced OPPO A7n is a slightly modified version of the OPPO A5s that has arrived with a better selfie camera and more RAM.

OPPO A7n Specifications and Features

The OPPO A7n comes with a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display. The waterdrop notched screen carries support for HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,520 pixels. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 88.3 percent. The MediaTek Helio P35 chipset powers the smartphone.

Instead of 3GB of RAM found on the OPPO A5s, the A7n comes with 4GB of RAM. It comes with a native storage of 64GB. ColorOS 5.2.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS comes preloaded on the device. The Hyper Boost mode available on the OPPO A7n enhances its performance for gaming. The microSD card slot supports expansion up to 256GB. It features a 4,230mAh battery to keeps the lights on.

The OPPO A7n has a horizontal dual camera setup that includes an f/2.2 aperture 13-megapixel primary sensor and an f/2.4 aperture 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It is equipped with an f/2.0 aperture 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It has an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The photography features include LED flash, full HD video shooting, time-lapse, panorama and portrait mode.

The connectivity features available on the OPPO A7n are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, microUSB 2.0, USB OTG, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack. The rear shell of the phone is fitted with a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone measures 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.2mm and it weighs 170 grams. In terms of specs, the OPPO A7n also bears resemblance with the OPPO A7 that was made available in November 2018. The only major difference is that the A7 includes Snapdragon 450 chipset.

Oppo A7n Price and Release Date

The OPPO A7n carries a price tag of 1,499 Yuan (~Rs 15,300). It is available in a single colour option of Lake Light Green. There is no word on the international availability of the phone.
