OPPO A9 With Helio P70 and 4,020mAh Battery Launched For Rs 15,490

Earlier this year, OPPO had launched the A9 in its home country. The smartphone has now made its way to the Indian market. The device is not very different from the China variant in terms of specs.

The OPPO A9 has been priced at Rs 15,490 and will go on sale from July 20th across both online and offline stores. 

Technical Specifications:

The OPPO A9 features a large 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch on the top. For durability, it is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the top. The OPPO A9 borrows its design language from the F11 and Reno series. On the back, the device houses a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dual-camera setup located in the center. Both the fingerprint scanner and camera are accentuated in gold. The smartphone ships in Marble Green and Fluorite Purple colours. 

On the imaging front, the OPPO A9 sports dual rear cameras comprising of 16MP+2MP sensors. Up front, it is fitted with a 16MP snapper for selfies. The device comes with Ultra Night mode that aids in clicking noise-free images in low-light. With the help of AI, the Dazzle colour mode identifies the scene of photo and restores the real details, brightness and colours. 

The OPPO A9 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P70 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It offers 128GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The China variant of A9 comes with 6GB RAM. The smartphone runs ColorOS 6 based on Android Pie. It comes with a Hyper Boost feature for an overall smooth and lag-free performance. The device also supports smart features like gesture navigation, smart assistant and cycling mode. A 4,020mAh battery unit fitted inside keeps the OPPO A9 running.
