OPPO MariSilicon X

OPPO MariSilicon X will be available on the upcoming Find X series of flagship phones

Built with the 6nm manufacturing process, the MariSilicon X features an advanced NPU, IPS, and multi-tier memory architecture for top-notch image processing with lowered power consumption. The NPU is capable of producing 18 TOS of processing power and 11.6 TOPS per watt of power efficiency. According to OPPO, the existing Find X3 Pro flagship phone with the MariSilicon NPU offers 20 times faster 4K AI processing without losing battery life.

The forthcoming Find X lineup will be fuelled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Instead of using SD8G1’s ISP, the Find X flagships will rely on MariSilicon X’s ISP since it carries support for advanced features such as 20-bit, 120db dynamic range in images, and real-time RAW processing in 4K video. There is an RGBW Pro mode onboard which assists the NPU to capture 4K Ultra HDR video and 4K Night Video. Instead of relying on the system memory, the NPU makes use of the dedicated memory that works at 8.5GB/s.
