OPPO had announced its proprietary ColorOS 7 version in November last year. Now the brand has released the Android 10 based ColorOS 7 rollout roadmap for its devices in India. According to the smartphone maker, a total of 20 phones are set to receive the upcoming software update.
OPPO has already updated the Find X series, Reno 10X Zoom, Reno, Reno 2, Reno 2F, Reno 2Z, R17, R17 Pro, F11, F11 Pro, F11 Pro Marvel’s Limited Edition, A9 and K3 smartphones to ColorOS 7. OPPO claims that ColorOS has 350 million users across the world.
ColorOS 7 update roadmap in India
As per the stable update timeline for Indian users, the Android 10 based ColorOS 6 update will be rolled out in two phases. The first phase will begin next month i.e. June, with phones like OPPO F9, F9 Pro, A5 2020, A9 2020 and F7 getting the latest UI update. The second phase includes phones like the OPPO R15 and R15 Pro, and will take place in July.
ColorOS 7 features
For those who are not aware, OPPO’s ColorOS 7 comes with design changes, performance optimisations and camera improvements. It introduces a system-wide dark mode and sound effects of the physical world. It also offers a Focus mode that is similar to the Zen mode on Oxygen OS.
ColorOS7 will arrive with a built-in DigiLocker service with DocVault feature that promotes paperless governance. The latest version will feature a revamped UI aimed at offering better user experience. It will also offer customization options for users. ColorOS 7 brings enhanced privacy, location controls and gesture navigation.
In other news, the OPPO K3 has started receiving ColorOS 7 update in India with support for VoWiFI.
