Oppo is soon going to launch the Oppo Reno 3 series of smartphones in China. The company has been pretty actively sharing intel about the Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G lately. So far, we have not heard any word on the global launch of the series. This, however, might soon be changing pretty soon as one of the devices in the lineup has reportedly hit the Indian BIS certification website.
Oppo CPH2001 gets the BIS certification, could belong to the Oppo Reno 3 series
The device which has got the certification comes with the model number Oppo CPH2001. This model number itself indicates that the device could most likely be launching sometime in 2020. If the device is indeed one of the Oppo Reno 3 series devices, we can expect to hear more about it soon as the device is going to launch in China in December itself.
Speaking of the lineup, the Oppo Reno 3 5G smartphone is now confirmed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. The device will feature a 4,025mAh battery and will still be 7.7mm thick. The weight of the device will also be less than 180 grams. All of the details mentioned in this paragraph are not mere speculations. Brian Shen himself has confirmed/teased the same.
As of now, we are not sure as to whether or not the Oppo CPH2001 belongs to the Oppo Reno 3 lineup, so we might as well keep this inside the speculated folder for now.
