Two new Oppo smartphones with model numbers Oppo CPH2001 and Oppo CPH2021 have appeared on the Geekbench database. Both the devices are found running no the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset which certainly hints at a possibility of them being budget smartphones. Let’s have a look at the specifications and the Geekbench scores of both the devices.
Oppo CPH2001 and Oppo CPH2021 Geekbench certification reveals an Helio P70 chipset and 8GB of RAM
Starting off with the Oppo CPH2001, the device has scored 868 in the single-core test and 2,515 in the multi-core test. Furthermore, as said, the Oppo CPH2001 will run on a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset which will be coupled with 8GB of RAM. As far as the OS is concerned, the Oppo CPH2001 will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
Coming to the Oppo CPH2021, the device will share the specifications revealed by the Geekbench listing with the Oppo CPH2001. There will be an Helio P70 SoC running the device. We will get 8GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie OS. The device has scored a bit lesser in the Geekbench tests, however. The single-core score comes out to be 766 while the multi-core score is 2,454.
Other than this, the rest of the specifications (and even the names of the devices) are unknown as of now, but we are likely to hear more about them in the coming days.
A little while ago, the Oppo CPH2001 appeared on the Indian BIS certification website which certainly hints that the device will be launched in India in the future.
