At an event held in Mumbai today, Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has launched its latest device, the OPPO F11 Pro. It is the company’s second smartphone with motorised pop-up selfie camera after the Find X launched last year. Prior to launch, OPPO teased a few specifications of the F11 Pro on its official website. Let’s take a detailed look at the device below:
Display & Design:
The OPPO F11 Pro features a fullscreen FHD+ display measuring 6.5-inches. It offers an immersive viewing experience with impressive 90.90 percent screen-to-body ratio. Design-wise, the F11 Pro flaunts a premium look with a 3D gradient glass finish. The dual rear camera setup is fitted in the center extending to its top edge. A fingerprint scanner is mounted below the camera module. The smartphone is constructed from aluminum alloy that dissipates heat and keeps the temperature lower. The F11 Pro is available in two attractive gradient colour options- Aurora Green and Thunder Black.
Camera:
In the photography department, the OPPO F11 Pro is the latest device to join the 48MP camera phone bandwagon. The dual camera setup consists of a 48MP with f/1.79 aperture and 6P lens. It is accompanied by a 5MP depth sensor. Upfront, the device sports a 16MP pop-up selfie camera that rises up from the same module as the back camera. The camera is driven by AI features for enhancing the pictures. It features Ultra Night Mode for taking superior photos with more details and less noise in low light conditions. The Dazzle Color Mode makes pictures appear vivid and vibrant.
Hardware, OS, & Battery:
In terms of performance, the OPPO F11 Pro houses a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. It packs 6GB RAM for smooth and seamless multitasking. The device offers 64GB inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot. The smartphone comes with a Hyperboost feature that optimizes the performance during heavy tasks like games. On the software front, the F11 Pro runs the custom Color OS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie with features like navigation gesture, cycling mode, smart assistant, and notification bar.
The OPPO F11 Pro draws its power from a 4,000mAh battery unit with the company’s proprietary VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 support. OPPO claims that VOOC 3.0 is almost 20 percent faster than the first generation VOOC charging.
OPPO F11:
OPPO also announced a toned down variant of its latest device. The F11 comes with almost the same specs as the Pro model. However, the device features a waterdrop notch that houses the selfie camera. The F11 comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. The device is backed by a slightly more 4,020mAh battery unit. The F11 can be availed in Fluorite Purple & Marble Green color option.
Pricing & Availability:
The OPPO F11 Pro bears a price tag of Rs 24,990. The standard F11 retails at Rs 19,990. Both the devices will go on sale starting from March 15 with pre-orders starting today on Amazon.
