OPPO F15 with quad rear cameras launching in India next month

Back in March this year, OPPO had launched the F11 in India. The device arrived in standard and Pro editions. Now the brand is all set to unveil a new smartphone in the F-series, the OPPO F15 in India. It is confirmed to arrive next month in the mid-range price segment. However, the exact launch date has not been shared by OPPO. The company has also teased the upcoming smartphone on its Twitter handle. It reveals a slim design with rounded corners and a quad-camera setup on the back. OPPO claims that the upcoming F15 will be the most fashionable F-series smartphone. 

A report by 91mobiles reveals that the OPPO F15 will borrow the design language from the recently launched Reno 3 series. The technical specifications are not known yet. But we expect the smartphone to arrive with a pop-up camera, AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and hardware upgrades compared to its predecessor. 

OPPO F11 series specifications

The OPPO F11 and F11 Pro sport a 6.5-inch display bearing a full HD+ resolution. The former comes with a waterdrop notch while the latter features a pop-up camera module. Both the devices come with a gradient back panel and a dual-camera setup comprising of 48MP + 5MP sensors. A 16MP sensor is fitted on the front for selfies. 

Under the hood, both the standard and Pro variants are equipped with MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. The former is available in 4GB + 128GB RAM and storage option while the latter packs 6GB RAM and offers 64GB internal storage. The Pro and standard variants are backed by a 4,000mAh battery unit with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging. Both the smartphones run on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie.
