Oppo – a Chinese smartphone maker which is also known for its deep roots in Indian offline market, is all set to launch a new smartphone Oppo F3 Plus in India. The company has already started giving out invites for its event scheduled on 23rd March. Oppo F3 Plus will be the company’s first dual selfies smartphone. In a tweet, Oppo announced the smartphone target the younger generation with a selfie focused smartphone. Another Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo has already launched V5 Plus recently which also featured dual selfies camera setup.
Talking about specs, the Oppo F3 Plus is rumoured to sport a 6-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 653 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. Only other phone which is powered by the same SD653 processor is Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro. The device packs in a 64GB of internal storage which is expected to further expandable with a MicroSD card.
On camera front, the Oppo F3 Plus will feature a standard single lens 16-megapixel rear camera but a dual selfie camera setup. On the front, it will feature a 16-megapixel along with an 8-megapixel depth sensing selfies cameras. The device will be powered by a massive 4000mAh battery. The remaining specs will be unveiled on 23rd March, i.e., launch day.
Recently at MWC, Oppo has also introduced a brand new camera technology enabling the smartphone to capture images with 5x optical zoom. Talking about the expected pricing of the device, we’re speculating it to be priced around 25,000. The Vivo V5 Plus is the only other phone available in the Indian market with dual selfie camera which is also priced in the same bracket.
