OPPO Find flip phone is reportedly in the works. 91mobiles has teamed up with tipster Mukul Sharma to reveal the launch timeline and pricing of the device. In December, OPPO announced the Find N as its first foldable display smartphone in China. Since the flip phone is expected to arrive with a foldable screen, it may debut with Find branding.

Last year, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in September. The South Korean tech giant is expected to announce its successor around the same time this year. OPPO’s clamshell phone is expected to rival the rumoured Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G and upcoming flip phones from other Chinese brands.

According to the report, the OPPO’s upcoming flip phone may arrive in the market by Q3 this year. To be precise, it states that it will go official by the end of September 2022. The final marketing name of the device is under the wraps.
As far as the pricing of the device is concerned, the report claims that it will be priced lower than the Galaxy Z Flip 3. To recollect, the Z Flip 3 was released with a starting price of $999 (~Rs 74,500) in the US and Rs 84,999 in India.
So far, OPPO’s Find N foldable phone has been available only in China. Hence, there is a possibility that the Find clamshell may debut first in OPPO’s home country as well. Also, there is no information available on the specs of the device.
The leak has further revealed that the company is working on a new foldable phone. It appears to be the successor edition of the Find N. There is no word on the specs of the device, but it is expected to break cover in early 2023.
