OPPO Find X2 will reportedly flaunt a 120Hz QHD+ display

In 2018, OPPO introduced the Find X smartphone, which arrived with an interesting design. Now, the company is working on a new Find X series smartphone called the OPPO Find X2. The phone’s existence was announced by the brand’s VP Brian Shen last month. While confirming the device, Shen said that the OPPO Find X2 will come with a better display than its predecessor. Now, ahead of any official announcement, the gadget tipster Digital Chat Station on the Chinese social networking website Weibo has revealed a few details about the OPPO Find X2’s display.

OPPO Find X2 will come with a screen refresh rate of 120Hz, suggests a leak

OPPO Find X2 specifications and features

According to the tipster, the OPPO Find X2’s screen will flaunt a resolution of QHD+ and a massive refresh rate of 120Hz. The company will allow users of the device to switch between full HD+ and QHD+ resolution. In addition, users will be able to choose between a refresh rate of 60Hz and 120Hz. The smartphone will have a curved OLED display, which OPPO will be sourcing from Samsung. Furthermore, the source has suggested that the screen of the Find X2 will measure 6.5-inches, and it will have a single hole at the top left corner, which will house the selfie camera.

OPPO Find X2’s rumoured design

Unfortunately, the tipster hasn’t revealed anything else about the OPPO Find X2. However, earlier reports have indicated that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 865. The phone is expected to utilise the Snapdragon X55 modem to provide support for 5G networks. The device could arrive in multiple variants with the top-end model offering 12GB of RAM and 512GB or 1TB of native storage. Notably, a recent leak suggested that the Find X2 will have a crescent-shaped design above the primary camera module at the rear.

No other details about the OPPO Find X2 are available at the moment. Also, there’s no word regarding the phone’s pricing and availability at the moment.
