OPPO‘s Find X2 series comprising the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro broke cover earlier in March this year. These smartphones come as the successor to the OPPO Find X flagship that was launched back in 2018, with innovative features like slider design with a motorised camera as its highlights.
The company has been teasing the launch of the Find X2 series in India for some time now, and also has a microsite up on Amazon India. Now, the brand has sent out media invites and officially announced the launch date of its newest flagships in the country.
OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro launching in India on June 17th
OPPO has sent out press releases to confirm that the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro will launch in the country on June 17th. OPPO will be broadcasting the launch event live through its social media handles and official YouTube channel at 4pm on the said date.
The company has already put up a ‘Notify Me’ page on Amazon, hinting that the phones will be available on the e-commerce site, in addition to other channels.
OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro specifications and features
To recap on the specifications, OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro are identical except for their storage variants and camera setup. The smartphones ship with a 6.7-inch 120Hz QHD+ AMOLED Ultra Vision display with a layer of Gorilla Glass 6. Ticking at the core is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The vanilla X2 comes with 256GB storage, while the Pro variant comes with 512GB.
The former features a 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor, a 12MP wide-angle lens and 13MP telephoto lens. The Pro variant, on the other hand, gets a 48MP Sony IMX689 primary sensor, 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13MP telephoto camera with support for 10x hybrid zoom and up to 60x digital zoom. Both phones get 32MP punch-hole selfie cameras on the front. The Find X2 and X2 Pro feature 4,260mAh and 4,200mAh batteries respectively, both with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging.
