OPPO launched its flagship smartphones, the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro earlier this month in China. The Find X2 duo were unveiled as Snapdragon 865 driven 5G-ready devices, and come with a number of notable premium features. A 120Hz display, 65W fast charging support, powerful cameras and premium construction are the key selling points of these flagships. We have now obtained an official render of an all-new device in the series, the OPPO Find X2 Lite, in collaboration with tipster Ishan Agarwal.
OPPO Find X2 Lite design and features
The OPPO Find X2 Lite bears a strong resemblance to the Reno 3 Vitality Edition and could be rebranded model for the global market. Instead of the tiny punch-hole cutout in the display as seen on the Find X2 and X2 Pro, the Lite variant gets a waterdrop notch on the top and a rather large chin. On the back, we can see a vertically aligned quad-camera setup in the top left corner, accompanied by a dual-tone LED flash on the right. Notably, the Find X2 and X2 Pro both come with a triple camera module. Just beside the camera module is an inscription saying ‘Ultra Steady’, which refers to a video stabilisation mode found on OPPO devices. We can see the power button on the right and volume rockers on the left. Unfortunately, no other details of the smartphone are known at the moment.
OPPO Reno 3 Vitality Edition specifications and features
Since we expect the Find X2 Lite to be a rebadged Reno 3 Vitality Edition, we can expect the specs to be similar as well. The Reno 3 Vitality Edition ships with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display and the Snapdragon 765 chipset. The processor is further backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard memory. The phone runs Android 10 with ColorOS 7.1 on top. The Reno 3 Vitality Edition offers a 4,025mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging. In the imaging department, the phone sports a 48MP primary sensor, along with 8MP and 2MP cameras.
The OPPO Reno 3 Vitality Edition comes in all-new colour variants – Moonlight Black, Sky Mirror White, Streamer Gold. It’s unclear whether OPPO will launch the device in India as a rebranded Find X2 Lite, but it seems likely given that it appears to be an affordable device.
