OPPO Find X2 alleged render reveals front and rear design

While several companies have pulled out of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) tech show which will be held in Barcelona later this month, OPPO is among those companies that will be debuting new products at the same venue. The Chinese company confirmed it will be holding its OPPO Find X2 launch event on February 22nd.  Past reports have revealed a lot of information on the Find X2 series which includes the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro smartphones. A new render of the Find X2 is now doing rounds on China’s Weibo microblogging platform. The authenticity of the image could not be confirmed, but it seems to be in line with all the reports surrounding the Find X2.

The new render shows that the display of the OPPO Find X2 are curved towards the edges. There is a punch-hole for the selfie camera at the top-left corner of the screen. The upper and lower bezels of the phone are very thin. The back panel of the phone has a triple camera setup along with an LED flash at the upper-left corner. The appearance of the first lens in the setup suggests that it could be a periscope telephoto lens. The buttons for controlling the volume can be seen on the left edge of the device. The power key is available on the right.

OPPO Find X2 specifications and features

The OPPO Find X2 is expected to house a 6.5-inch OLED display. Recent reports have revealed the ability to switch between full HD+ and quad HD+ resolutions as well as 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rates.

The rear camera setup of the Find X2 may comprise of a Sony IMX689 primary sensor. It is said to be a 48-megapixel custom lens built with partnership between OPPO and Sony. The Sony IMX708 wide-angle lens is expected to debut on the Find X2. The setup may include a telephoto shooter of 13-megapixels.

The Find X2’s battery capacity is not known yet, but it is expected to come with support for 65W fast charging. The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform will be fueling the device and it will be equipped with other features like an in-screen fingerprint reader, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0 storage and Wi-Fi 6 support.

There is no word on the pricing of the Find X2 yet. Since the Find X had launched in India back in 2018, the Find X2 series may arrive in the country in the next few months.
