Earlier this year, OPPO unveiled the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro premium flagship phones. It was confirmed by the company last month that the successor to the Find X2 series will be made official in Q1 2021. A massive leak courtesy of Evan Blass has revealed all the vital information about the Find X3 Pro smartphone.
The leak reveals that the company has codenamed the Find X3 Pro as Fussi. Since the display of the smartphone supports end-to-end 10-bit colour depth, the Find X3 Pro could be marketed with the “Awaken Colour” tagline. The front and rear sides of the smartphone will have curved edges. However, it is not clear whether its screen will have a punch-hole cutout. It could be available in ceramic glaze-like or matt-frosted glass rear versions.
OPPO Find X3 Pro specifications and features
The Find X3 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display that will support QHD+ resolution of 1,440 x 3,216 pixels, a 20.1:9 aspect ratio, and a 525ppi pixel density. Like the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the Find X3 Pro will support adaptive dynamic frame rate ranging between 10Hz and 120Hz.
OPPO’s full-path colour management system will be one of the major features of the Find X3 Pro. With 10-bit colour depth support on the screen, it will be able to capture and store images in 10-bit, and also display them in 1.07 billion colours.
The Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform will be the heart of the Find X3 Pro. The leak has no information about its RAM and storage options. Being a premium flagship, the Find X3 Pro may come with LPPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
It will arrive with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 wired charging support for its 4,500mAh dual-cell battery. Like the OnePlus 8 Pro, the Find X3 Pro will support 30W VOOC Air wireless charging.
Blass did not mention anything about the selfie camera of the Find X3 Pro, but he did reveal some key information on its quad rear cameras. The rear camera setup of the phone will have two 50-megapixel Sony IMX7666 cameras, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, and a distinctive 3-megapixel macro camera circled with lights.
The first IMX766 will serve as a primary lens with wide-angle support, while the second one will be meant for capturing ultra-wide shots. The telephoto lens will support 2x optical zoom, whereas the macro lens will offer up to 25x zoom to function like a microscope. The leak does not mention whether the camera setup has a periscope zoom lens like the Find X2 series.
The Find X3 Pro will be fitted with a new NFC module with dual-body antenna design, which will let users to make payments either by touching either the back or screen of the phone to the reader. The smartphone will boot ColorOS 11 based Android 11.
