The OPPO Find X5 will arrive as the successor to the Find X3 that debuted in March last year. The brand is likely skipping on the number ‘4’ since it is considered a bad omen in China. The Find X5 series is expected to launch in Q1 2022.
OPPO Find X5 series bags 3C certification
The OPPO Find X5 is listed on the 3C website with model number PFFM10 while the Pro variant carries a model number PFEM10. The listing reveals that both smartphones will support 80W fast wired charging. As per rumours, the Pro model is also said to come with 50W wireless charging whereas the standard variant will lack support for it. Apart from the charging speed, the 3C certification doesn’t reveal any details on the Find X5 series. Both smartphones are rumoured to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery unit.
The CAD-based leaked renders of the OPPO Find X5 reveal that the upcoming flagship offering will retain the same design as its predecessor. This means that the standard and Pro variants will feature an elevating camera bump and a sandblasted texture on the back panel.

When MediaTek launched the Dimensity 9000 last month, OPPO VP confirmed that the chipset will power the next Find X flagship. However, it remains to be seen which model will be equipped with Dimensity 9000. We can expect the Find X5 Pro to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor paired with 12GB RAM as per the Geekbench listing. The alleged live images of the Pro variant also reveal the Hasselblad camera along with MariSilicon X NPU for image processing.
