OPPO’s first full-screen smartphone, the Find X was launched in India last year. Ever since then, the company has been launching new smartphones with full-screen display. Devices like F11 Pro and the Reno series come with full screen and boast an impressive screen-to-body ratio. Amazon has now started teasing a new smartphone from OPPO. The latest from OPPO is likely to be the OPPO K3 which was launched in China in May.
OPPO K3 Features and Specifications
The OPPO K3 is a mid-range device that comes with a pop-up selfie camera and a dual rear camera setup. The teaser talks about full screen AMOLED display, 91.1 percent screen-to-body ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. The OPPO K3 features the same screen to body ratio, leading us to believe it’s the same phone.
The Snapdragon 710 AIE mobile platform fuels the smartphone with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. For storage, it comes with up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage and a microSD card slot. It includes a 3,765mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 20W rapid charging.
The OPPO K3 comes with a pop-up front camera of 16-megapixels. The glass rear panel of the phone has a vertical dual camera setup with a 16-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The various photography features that are available on the device include Ultra Clear Night View 2.0, handheld night scene mode, multi-frame noise reduction, AI portrait mode, AI intelligent scene recognition and dual-LED flash.
The OPPO K3 comes in Nebula Purple, Morning White and Farm Black colors. In China it is available in three variants, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB. In China, the OPPO K3’s is price starts at 1,599 Yuan (~Rs 16,100).
