OPPO K9x has been launched in China. It is the fourth device in the brand’s K9 series. The lineup consists of standard, Pro, and K9s variants that debuted earlier this year. The latest offering is a rebranded Realme 8s 5G (review) that is available in India.
The OPPO K9x comes with slightly upgraded internals compared to the regular K9. However, it retains the rest of the specifications from the Realme 8s 5G. Let’s take a look at what the OPPO K9x has in store for us.
OPPO K9x specifications and features
The OPPO K9x offers a 6.5-inch punch-hole LCD display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. The back panel houses a rectangular camera module with an elongated design. The smartphone’s triple camera setup comprises a 64MP main sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth unit. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie snapper.
Internally, the OPPO K9x is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. It is offered in either 6GB or 8GB RAM options with both packing up to 256GB native storage. The smartphone is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery cell with support for 33W fast charging. It runs on ColorOS 12 based Android 11 out of the box.
On the connectivity front, the OPPO K9x comes with a USB-C port, 3.5mm jack, 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
OPPO K9x pricing and availability
OPPO hasn’t revealed the price of the K9x. The smartphone is offered in Obsidian Black and Silver Purple colours and will be available for purchase from December 27th in China.
