Oppo launched the A71 in September last year. It was followed by the Oppo A71 (2018) which the brand unveiled yesterday. But there was no announcement regarding its India launch. As per our industry sources, the brand is set to launch the Oppo A71s in India. It will probably have the same specifications as the A71 (2018) but come with a different name. The phone will be priced at Rs. 9,990 and is scheduled to launch in the next few days.
The Oppo A71s will have a screen size of 5.2-inch with an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It will be enhanced with a 2.5D curved glass. However, it might not have any screen protection on top. The phone is likely to come in two different colours: Black and Gold.
In terms of camera, the phone is set to rock a 13-megapixel sensor on the back which will be able to record Full HD videos. It is accompanied with an LED flash to allow better pictures in low-light. On the front, there’s a 5-megapixel sensor to help you click selfies and make video calls.
Talking of the performance, the phone fits a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core chipset. This is coupled with 3GB of RAM to aid in smooth multi-tasking. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat layered with Oppo’s custom UI, ColorOS 3.1. Additionally, it has Face Unlock made possible through the software. The phone has got 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
On the connectivity front, there’s a Micro USB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also has 4G VoLTE connectivity, Bluetooth v4.1 and Wi-Fi along with all the basic sensors.
