OPPO hosted its annual Inno Day 2022 with a special online presentation, revealing three new products: the OHealth H1 health monitor, the MariSilicon Y chip, and the Air Glass 2 AR glasses. Although, the Chinese smartphone maker has not announced any specific launch date for these products. Here’s everything you need to know about OPPO’s latest devices.
OPPO Air Glass 2
During the OPPO Inno Day 2022, the company showcased the Air Glass 2. It weighs around 38g and comes with a durable design. These lenses will support vision correction and further customization, making them almost indistinguishable from regular glasses. Besides, the glasses will be able to make phone calls, conduct real-time translation, provide location-based navigation, convert voice into text for people with hearing impairments, and provide many more smart experiences.
The OHealth H1 health monitoring gadget combines six different types of health data monitoring into a single device. It can also record heart and lung auscultation, create an electrocardiogram (ECG), and monitor blood oxygen levels. The OHealth H1 equips a sleep tracker to monitor body temperature and heart rate. The device weighs around 95g and has an oval-like design with rounded corners.
MariSilicon Y Chip
The MariSilicon Y Chip is the second custom-developed chip after the MariSilicon X. It’s not a successor and only adds a Bluetooth audio system on a chip. It is the first Bluetooth SoC to utilize the sophisticated N6RF process technology, allowing a 50% boost in Bluetooth bandwidth over current Bluetooth SoCs. According to OPPO, the new chip can transmit 24-bit/192kHz lossless audio over Bluetooth, the first in the industry.
