OPPO Pad and OPPO Enco X2 have been launched in China today. Both devices have debuted alongside the flagship OPPO Find X5 series. The brand has entered the tablet segment with the launch of the OPPO Pad. It comes with flagship specifications.

The OPPO Enco X2 is a TWS offering and arrives as the successor to the first generation Enco X earbuds that debuted way back in 2020. The latest device comes with upgrades over its predecessor. Take a look at the OPPO Pad and Enco X2 below.

OPPO’s first tablet called OPPO Pad

The OPPO Pad comes with a 10.95-inch display bearing a QHD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It offers HDR10, 10-bit colour and is compatible with a stylus pen (sold separately) called OPPO Pencil. The device sports a boxy form factor and dual-tone back panel with OPPO branding and a single circular 13MP camera sensor with LED flash. The tablet features an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper. 

On the audio front, the OPPO Pad is equipped with quad speakers powered by Dolby Atmos. 

Under the hood, the OPPO Pad houses a Snapdragon 870 processor coupled with either a 6GB or 8GB RAM option. Both models offer 256GB native storage. The tablet draws its power from an 8,360mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging. 

The OPPO Pad ships with Android 12 OS layered with the brand’s ColorOS out of the box. Connectivity options on the device include a USB-C port, 2×2 MIMO, WiFi, and Bluetooth.

The OPPO Enco X2 retains the same design as its predecessor. The earbuds come with an in-ear stem design. The audio device also features antibacterial anti-earwax ear tips. It is IP54 rated dust and water-resistant. Users can control various functions by touching the stem of the earbuds.  

In terms of audio, the OPPO Enco X2 is co-developed with Danish brand Dynaudio.  It is equipped with an 11mm dynamic driver and SuperDBEE technology. The TWS earphones feature LHDC 4.0 certified by Hi-Res wireless for clear sound details. The audio device also comes with three microphones out of which two are attributed to noise cancellation up to 45dB. The TWS earphones feature smart adaptive noise cancellation that automatically identifies surroundings and adjusts the ANC. The third microphone on the device is paired with bone conduction sensors for voice pickup in noisy environments.  

The OPPO Enco X2 is the world’s first TWS earphone with Dolby Binaural recording that is capable of recording what a user hears and reproduce sound sources. The TWS earphones are backed by a 566mAh battery unit with each earbud backed by a 57mAh cell. It is claimed to deliver 22 hours of battery life with ANC off and 5 hours with the feature turned on. The device supports fast charging via a USB-C port and is also compatible with Qi-certified wireless chargers. 

The OPPO Enco X2 comes with Bluetooth 5.2 and can be connected to two devices simultaneously. 

OPPO Pad and Enco X2 pricing and availability 

The OPPO Pad comes in 6GB + 128GB, 6GB + 256GB, and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations. These are priced at RMB 2,699 (~Rs 2,451), RMB 2,699 (~Rs 32,281), and RMB 2,999 (~Rs 35,210) respectively. It is available in Black, Purple and Special Silver edition colour variant. The tablet will go on sale in China from March 3rd. 

The OPPO Enco X2 is priced at RMB 999 (~Rs 12,000) and will be available for purchase starting mid-April in White and Black colours.
