OPPO Pad, the first tablet from the Chinese tech company, will launch in China on February 24th, 2022. The tablet will debut alongside the Find X5, Find X5 Pro, and Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition on February 24th, 2022, in China. The leaked specifications of the device have revealed that it will be a high-end tablet powered by a Snapdragon 8-series chip.

Ahead of the launch, OPPO has revealed the design of the OPPO Pad. The tablet will run on a tablet-friendly version of ColorOS. The OPPO Pad is expected to offer other features such as a high refresh rate display and a big battery with rapid charging support.

OPPO Pad will feature the Snapdragon 870 chip
The OPPO Pad can be seen sporting a large-sized display with symmetrical bezels. The bottom edge of the device has a pair of speakers, a USB Type-C port, and a microphone. The top edge of the tablet is not visible in the above image, but other reports have revealed that it has a pair of speakers and a power key.
The back panel of the tablet has a dual-tone finish with a fancy OPPO branding and a single camera with LED flash The images show that the tablet will come in grey and purple colours.
OPPO Pad specifications (rumoured)
Rumours surrounding the OPPO Pad tablet have claimed that it will be equipped with an LCD display measuring 10.95-inches. The display is tipped to support Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The front side of the device will be flanked by an 8-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies. Its rear side has a 13-megapixel camera.
The OPPO Pad will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform and 6GB/8GB of RAM. Both models may ship with 25GB of built-in storage. The device is likely to pack an 8,360mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
The OPPO Pad will come preinstalled with Android 12 OS overlaid with a tablet-optimised version of the ColorOS. The OPPO Pencil is expected to arrive with support for 4096-levels of pressure sensitivity. The stylus is speculated to come with support for Bluetooth connectivity and magnetic charging. For audiophiles, the device is likely to come equipped with Dolby Atmos powered quad-speaker unit.
OPPO Pad pricing (rumoured)
Rumours have it that the OPPO Pad may cost around RMB 2,000 (~Rs 23,650). It is unclear whether it will be released in markets outside China.
