OPPO has partnered with Spotify to integrate the streaming platform’s various features in to ColorOS 13. The brand had unveiled its proprietary operating system earlier this month. It is based on Android 13 OS.
The collaboration with Spotify and new features is sure to excite the fans of the audio streaming service. Commenting on the partnership, Head of OPPO Software Product, Gary Chen said ‘Through smart, convenient, and human-centric features developed with our partners, we are bringing a more intelligent and efficient operating system to users, enabling them to spend more time enjoying music.’

OPPO partners with Spotify to integrate music features into ColorOS 13
OPPO’s partnership with Spotify will enable an all-new simple and customisable music experience on OPPO phones on the brand’s latest ColorOS 13. The operating system comes with a fully integrated Spotify app and other smart features. Listeners can enjoy music, podcasts, and audiobooks on their devices with easier access and more convenient control over the Spotify app on the home screen.
There is an all-new Smart Always-on display that will let Spotify users know what content is currently playing by looking at the AOD and double-clicking on the control panel without waking up the device. Users can also control content playback with this feature and without unlocking the phone.

The new Shelf feature in ColorOS 13 includes a built-in Spotify card with content recommendations allowing users to access their favourite music on the app with a single slide. Users can also add the Spotify widget on the home screen for quick and easy access to the app. There is also an alarm integration in the ColorOS 13 Clock app enabling users to wake up every morning to their favourite Spotify tracks, playlists, and podcasts.
