Last month, OPPO had announced its Reno 3 series in its home country. Now a mysterious OPPO phone with model number PCLM50 has been spotted in the database of the Chinese regulatory authority TENAA. The listing on the agency’s website has revealed the full specifications of the upcoming OPPO smartphone. Notably, some of the features of the OPPO PCLM50 are similar to the Reno 3 series devices. The listing indicates that the OPPO PCLM50 will be the third mid-range 5G smartphone in the Reno 3 series.
The TENNA listing of OPPO PCLM50 suggests that the device will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with full HD+ resolution. The type of notch and whether the screen of the device is flat or curved is unknown. The device is expected to arrive with an in-display fingerprint scanner. According to TENNA, the upcoming device measures 160.3 x 74.3 x 7.96mm and weighs 180 grams. It is said to arrive in Black, White, and Yellow colour options.
Just like the Reno 3 series, the OPPO PCLM50 will be equipped with quad rear cameras comprising of 48MP main shooter, which is paired with an 8MP secondary shooter and two 2MP sensors. The phone will feature a 32MP camera on the front, as per the listing on TENAA.
On the hardware front, the listing reveals that the OPPO PCLM50 will be powered by an unspecified octa-core processor, which will offer a clock speed of 2.4GHz. We expect it to be the Snapdragon 765G chipset. The device will arrive in only 8GB RAM variant but will be offered in 128GB or 256GB internal storage options. The OPPO PCLM50 is listed with a 3,935mAh battery unit which is slightly less than the Reno 3 series. The hand will run ColorOS 7 with Android 10 out of the box. For connectivity, there will be 5G support for SA, NSA 5G, Band 41 and Band 78.
As of now, there’s no word when OPPO will be launching this smartphone. However, since the device has been certified by TENAA, we expect it to be released in the near future.
