- OPPO Reno 10 Pro Plus is likely to feature a periscope zoom camera
- The camera is expected to bring support for 2x optical zoom
- The Reno 10 series is likely to debut by mid-2023
OPPO Reno 10 Pro Plus is said to be in the works. OPPO is currently gearing up for the launch of the Reno 9 series in the Chinese market. Multiple reports have claimed that the company will unveil the Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro+ by the end of November this year. It is likely that the Reno 10 series will arrive six months later in the home market.
A recent leak by popular tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ will feature a periscope zoom camera. To recall, the last Reno model to feature a periscope zoom camera was the Reno 10x Zoom, which was made official in 2019.
OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ to support 2x optical zoom
Recently, a Chinese tipster asked Weibo users if “(they) want a periscope for the Reno series super cup?”He claimed that the said feature will not be available on the Reno 9 series, but on the Reno 10 lineup. Another tipster claimed that the periscope zoom camera will be exclusively available on the “super-cup” model of the Reno 10 series.
The word “super-cop” model refers to the highest model in the Reno 10 lineup. Hence, it appears that these tipsters are trying to say that the OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ will have a periscope zoom camera. It appears that the Reno 10 series, which may include other models, such as the Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro, may debut by mid-2023 in China.
The Reno 10x Zoom offers up to 10x hybrid zoom and 5x optical zoom. The Reno 10 Pro+ is expected to support only 2x optical zoom. At present, there is no information on the other specifications of the Reno 10 Pro+.
