OPPO has dropped the price of two of the Reno series smartphones in India – the Reno 2F and Reno 2Z. Both the handsets have received a permanent price drop of Rs 2,000. The OPPO Reno 2F was originally launched for Rs 25,990, but is now being offered for Rs 23,990. As for the OPPO Reno 2Z, it is now being offered for Rs 27,990, down from the earlier price tag of Rs 29,990. The Reno handsets are available at the reduced prices from major brick and mortar stores across the country, apart from the brand’s online sales partner Amazon India.
OPPO Reno 2F and Reno 2Z specifications and features
The OPPO Reno 2F and Reno 2Z are mid-range offerings with in-display fingerprint sensors, truly bezel-free displays, pop-up selfie cameras, and a quad-camera primary setup at the rear. They come with 6.53-inch full HD+ AMOLED displays with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 layer to protect them against scratches. The handsets feature a huge screen-to-body ratio of 91.6 percent. Both the phones boot ColorOS 6.1 out of the box, which is based on Android 9 Pie.
Talking about the camera features, the OPPO Reno 2F and Reno 2Z offer a 48-megapixel primary camera at the rear. The main camera is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter with a field of view of 119-degree, a 2-megapixel Monochrome lens, and a 2-megapixel camera for depth sensing. For selfies and video-calling, both the devices have 16MP snappers, which come out of the top in the middle whenever you need to capture a selfie.
In the connectivity department, the OPPO Reno 2F and Reno 2Z offer 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS. Under the hood, there’s a beefy 4,000mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology support. Individually, the OPPO Reno 2F has a MediaTek Helio P70 processor, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. While the OPPO Reno 2Z is fuelled by a MediaTek Helio P90 chipset, which is aided by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
