OPPO has announced that the Reno 2F smartphone will go on sale in India from October 4th. The phone is priced at Rs 25,990, and will be available in the country through offline stores and online on Amazon India. OPPO had launched the Reno2 F in India in August, but the brand didn’t reveal the pricing and availability of the smartphone at the time. Earlier, the company said that the OPPO Reno2 F will go on sale in November, but looks like it had a change of plans.
Those who are interested in OPPO Reno2 F can pre-order the smartphone starting tomorrow. As part of the launch offer, the company is offering a cashback of 10 percent to the buyers who make the purchase using HDFC cards till October 31st. There’s a zero down payment option from Bajaj Finserv and EMI offers from IDFC First Bank, Home Credit, and HDB Financial Services. OPPO has also partnered with telecom operators to provide data benefits to the users of the Reno2 F. Also, the handset will be available with complete damage protection from September 28th to October 31st.
OPPO Reno2 F specifications
The OPPO Reno2 F is a mid-range offering with a pop-up selfie camera and a quad-camera setup at the rear. The phone has a 48MP camera at the back, which is accompanied by three other lenses – 8MP + 2MP + 2MP. For selfies and video-calling, there’s 16MP snapper that comes out of top whenever required.
As for the other highlights, the OPPO Reno2 F sports a 6.5-inch display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. Under the hood, there’s a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, aided by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A 4,000mAh battery keeps the whole package alive.
