Three new OPPO handsets have been listed today on TENAA’s certification database along with images and partial specifications. From the newly uploaded information, it is clear that two of these are 5G models while one of them is a plain 4G version. The three new models are OPPO PCRT00, PCPT00, and PCRM00. Amongst these, the focus will be on the OPPO PCRT00, PCRM00 which are essentially 5G variants of the OPPO Reno 3 Pro. That is also quite clear from the revealed images of the database that concur to official renders shared just this morning on social media. The remaining OPPO PCPT00 is expected to be a 4G variant of the Reno 3 series similar to the OPPO PCPM00 found last week.
Coming to the two 5G models that we mentioned above, both have the exact same dimensions, screen size and battery capacity. That is, the screen measures 6.5-inches, the battery capacity is 3,935mAh, and the dimensions are 159.4×72.4×7.7(mm). The thickness (7.7mm) was also teased earlier by the company’s VP last week as was the battery size, so no surprises here. Other than that, we’re expecting more details to emerge on TENAA soon with regards to the camera, processor, colour and storage variants. Official renders have also confirmed a Snapdragon 765G SoC to be at the heart of this Reno 5G device.
Going by leaked information, the Reno 3 Pro 5G is set to boast a Full-HD+ 90Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, a quad-camera constituted of 48MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors. We also expect the latest VOOC 4.0 (30W) fast charging feature as suggested by a 3C listing of the same models previously. As for the 4G OPPO PCPT00 model, it has a slightly smaller 6.4-inch screen and slightly bigger dimensions compared to the 5G models. In terms of design, the Reno 3 Pro rear differs slightly from the Reno 3. The LED flash, as you can see is integrated inside the camera module itself while the Reno 3 flash resides outside of it. Coming to the front, the Reno 3 Pro 5G comes with hole-punch display whereas the Reno 3 packs a teardrop notch display.
