OPPO is all set to introduce its latest Reno series smartphones called the Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro at an event in its home market of China on December 26th. Ahead of the launch, the renders and some specifications of the upcoming Reno offerings were leaked on the interwebs. Now, the Chinese tech giant has officially revealed the design of the OPPO Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro in the products pages on its website. In addition, the brand has also revealed some of the specifications of the Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro like their RAM and storage variants, apart from the colour models.

As you can see in the image above, the OPPO Reno 3 smartphone will feature a waterdrop notch above the flat screen, slim bezels on the sides, and a slim chin. At the rear, the phone has a quad-camera setup at the rear, which will be placed vertically. As for the Reno 3 Pro, its images show that the phone will have much slimmer bezels on top and bottom of the two-sided curved display.

The handset will feature a hole on the top-left of the screen to house the selfie camera. The rear design of the Reno 3 Pro will be almost identical to the Reno 3. A fingerprint sensor of the devices is not visible on the back, so we expect it to be placed under the screen.

Talking about the specs, product pages on the brand’s website have revealed that the OPPO Reno 3 will come in two RAM and storage 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 128GB. The MediaTek Dimensity 1000L 5G processor-powered smartphone will offer 5G connectivity, a 64MP primary quad-camera setup on the back, and a 4,025mAh battery.
As for the Reno 3 Pro, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G processor. The handset will have a slim waistline of just 7.7mm, 5G connectivity, and a 4,025mAh battery. The phone will be available in 8GB+128GB and 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage variants. Lastly, the company has revealed that both the Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro will be offered in colour variants such as Sunrise Impression, Moonlight White, Blue Starry Night, and Misty / Moonlight White.
