OPPO will be introducing its latest Reno series of smartphones at an event some point in December. The Chinese tech giant will be launching two new devices called the OPPO Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro at the event in its home market. Ahead of the launch, the company’s Vice President and President of Global Marketing Brian Shen recently revealed a couple of features of the upcoming Reno phones, apart from showing the front of the Reno 3 Pro. Now, Shen has revealed a promotional video of the Reno 3 Pro, which shows the back design of the smartphone. In addition, a tipster on the Chinese social networking website Weibo has leaked major specifications of the handset.

OPPO Reno 3 Pro design
As seen in the promotional video, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro will flaunt a glass back panel with the appealing gradient finish. The device has rounded corners and its back is curved towards the sides to provide an ergonomic feel. The back of the smartphone will have a primary quad-camera setup that’s placed at the top-left corner in a vertical manner. The video also reveals that the device’s volume rocker will be placed on the left, and the right side will possibly have the power button. Talking about the front design, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro’s earlier promotional image suggested a curved display, possibly with a hole in the screen on the top-left corner.
OPPO Reno 3 Pro specifications and features
Talking about the specs, the latest leak on Weibo suggests that the Reno 3 Pro will come with a 6.5-inch OLED display with full HD+ resolution. Notably, the smartphone’s screen will have a high refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G processor, which will be aided by 12GB of RAM. There could also be other RAM and storage variants of the device.
Furthermore, the source indicates that the OPPO Reno 3 Pro will flaunt a 48MP primary camera at the back. The main sensor will be coupled with an 8MP secondary shooter, a 13MP third sensor, and a 2MP fourth lens. The smartphone’s rear camera module will support optical image stabilisation. Lastly, the leakster suggests that the new Reno offering will come with support for 30W fast charging, which could be the brand’s new VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology. As for the other specs, the company has already revealed that the Reno 3 Pro will boast dual-mode 5G support and a decent 4,025mAh battery.
