OPPO has announced that the Reno 4 Pro will be launched in India on July 31st . The smartphone was previously tipped to debut in the third week of the month. Now, OPPO has confirmed that it will launch the Reno 4 Pro on July 31st at 12.30 pm.

The OPPO Reno 4 Pro is a mid-range smartphone that was launched in China last month. As we exclusively reported yesterday, the brand will also debut the OPPO Watch alongside its upcoming smartphone in India. We already know the specifications of the Reno 4 Pro, and the Indian variant is expected to be largely identical to its Chinese counterpart.

The OPPO Reno 4 Pro is confirmed to feature a 90Hz refresh rate display and up to 180Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone will offer a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 92.01 percent screen-to-body ratio. Previously, the device was rumoured to come with a 120Hz display panel and a higher screen size.
Apart from this, the rest of the specifications on the Indian variant are expected to remain the same as China model. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 765G chipset with support for 5G connectivity. It will be offered in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations. The Reno 4 Pro sports a triple camera setup comprising a 48MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 13MP telephoto unit. The device features a 32MP front-facing camera.
The Reno 4 Pro draws its power from a 4,000mAh battery with support for 65W VOOC fast charging tech. Out of the box, it runs ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10.
OPPO Reno 4 Pro pricing and availability
The OPPO Reno 4 Pro starts at RMB 3,799 (~Rs 40,490) in China for the base variant. We expect it to carry a lower price tag in the Indian market. As we reported earlier, the phone will go on sale on August 5th, with pre-orders beginning from July 18th.
