Last month, OPPO had launched the Reno 4 series in China. It arrived in standard and Pro variants. Both smartphones share the same specifications apart from camera differences. Now the Chinese brand is tipped to launch the Reno 4 Pro in India soon.
The news comes from 91mobiles, which has learnt from retail sources that OPPO is planning to launch the Reno 4 Pro in the third week of July. The smartphone will likely debut between 20th-24th July. OPPO’s Reno 4 Pro is expected to compete against the OnePlus Nord that is tipped to launch in the same week.
OPPO Reno 4 Pro specifications and features
The China variant of OPPO Reno 4 Pro sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display bearing an FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. According to tipster Mukul Sharma aka Stufflistings, the Indian variant could come with a higher refresh rate (compared to 90Hz on China model) and slightly different screen size.
The of the specifications of the OPPO Reno 4 Pro are expected to be the same as the China variant. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 765G processor coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Reno 4 Pro will feature triple cameras comprising a 48MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 13MP telephoto unit. The punch-hole cutout on the front accommodates a 32MP selfie snapper.
The Reno 4 Pro is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charge technology. It runs ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10.
In other news, OPPO has slashed the price of the Reno 3 Pro. The smartphone is back to its original price tag of Rs 29,990 from Rs 31,990 due to GST rate hike. This also suggests that OPPO could launch the Reno 4 Pro between Rs 30,000 – Rs 35,000.
