Exclusive: OPPO Reno 4 Pro and OPPO Watch launching in India on July 30th; here’s how much the Watch costs

OPPO‘s latest Reno-series smartphone, the Reno 4 Pro, was previously tipped to launch in India in the third week of July. We have now learned via tipster Ishan Agarwal that the smartphone will be launched in the country on July 30th, and showcased during IPL 2020. Our source also revealed some pre-booking offers for the Reno 4 Pro. Notably, the OPPO Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro debuted in China just last month as premium mid-range offerings from the brand.

We can also confirm that the OPPO Watch will be launched alongside the Reno 4 Pro, and its expected pricing has been revealed as well.

As per Agarwal, while the Reno 4 Pro launch is set for July 30th, OPPO will be accepting pre-orders for the device between July 18th and August 4th. The smartphone will go on sale in India starting August 5th. Those buying the smartphone during the first three days of sale i.e., August 5th, 6th and 7th, will get full damage protection for 180 days free of cost.

As for the OPPO Watch, it will also be announced at the same event. It will be available in 41mm and 46mm variants, which will be priced around Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively. OPPO will also announce several pre-booking offers for Watch customers, but we don’t have those details yet.

OPPO Reno 4 Pro specifications and features

To recap, in China, the Reno 4 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. However, in India, the smartphone is tipped to come with a 120Hz panel and different screen size. Other features are likely to remain the same, including the Snapdragon 765G processor, triple rear cameras consisting of 48MP primary, 12MP ultra-wide and 13MP telephoto sensors, 32MP selfie camera, 4,000mAh battery with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charge, and Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2.
