Recently, several certification listings confirmed that OPPO is working on a successor to the Reno 4z 5G, which was launched in September last year. The smartphone, which is called the OPPO Reno 5Z was spotted with the model number CPH2211. Now, the OPPO Reno 5Z has popped up on Taiwan’s NCC (National Communications Commission) certification platform.
The recent listing confirms the variant details, battery capacity, and charger model of the upcoming OPPO Reno 5Z smartphone. Of these, the battery details were also revealed in the NEMKO and FCC certification. Other certifications that have listd the phone include FCC, Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG. OPPO Reno 5Z listed on NCC certification website
The NCC (National Communications Commission) certification platform website has listed the mobile with the model number CPH2211, which matches the previous leaks. The NCC listing also reveals that the smartphone will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Moreover, the smartphone will feature support for expandable storage up to 256GB.
The listing also confirms that the OPPO Reno 5Z will come with a 4,310mAh typical battery (4,220mAh rated). The new listing also confirms that the smartphone will come with a VC56JBUH charger, which is a 30W unit. The fast-charging details were previously spotted on the FCC website as well.
The FCC listing also had a drawing of the device confirming that it will feature a triple camera setup on the rear pane. However, details of the camera setup are not known at the moment. In terms of dimensions, the OPPO Reno 5Z will reportedly measure 160.1 x 73.4 x 7.8mm and weigh 175g.
Past certification leaks have revealed that the smartphone will boot Android 11-based ColorOS V11.1 out-of-the-box. Connectivity options might include Bluetooth 5.2, 5G, Wi-Fi, GPS, and NFC. As of now, this is all that we know about the upcoming OPPO smartphone. However, multiple certification listings hint that the launch might be sooner than expected.
