The OPPO Reno 6 series of smartphones will launch in India in July, claims a new report by TechRadar. The publication added that unless there are any changes caused due to supply chain issues or lockdown, the Reno 6 line will debut in July in the country.
The OPPO Reno 6 series will first debut in China on May 27th. Reports have revealed that the lineup has three models such as Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro, and Reno 6 Pro Plus. It is unclear whether all three smartphones will be made available in India.
OPPO Reno 6 series specifications and features (rumoured)
The specifications of the Reno 6 series are already known as they appeared on Chinese retailer sites and TENAA certification. The OPPO Reno 6 5G is expected to arrive with a 6.43-inch flat AMOLED panel with a punch-hole design. On the other hand, the Reno 6 Pro 5G and Reno 6 Pro+ 5G are expected to feature a 6.55-inch curved AMOLED panel with a punch-hole design. All three phones are expected to support Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The Reno 6 trio is expected to feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro are likely to feature a quad-camera system with a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a pair of 2-megapixel auxiliary camera. The quad-camera unit of the Reno 6 Pro+ 5Gmay features a Sony IMX766 50-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto periscope lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The Reno 6 could be featuring the Dimensity 900, the Reno 6 Pro may get the Dimensity 1200 chipset, and the Reno 6 Pro+ may come with the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform. All three phones are expected to feature up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Reno 6 trio is likely to house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
