OPPO Reno 7 series launch date in India announced, Flipkart availability confirmed


  • OPPO has announced the launch date of its Reno 7 series in India
  • It will be unveiled in the first week of February
  • The lineup will comprise a standard and Pro variant

OPPO Reno 7 series is set to launch in India on February 4th. The brand has announced the launch date on its official Twitter handle. Last week, the smartphone’s Flipkart availability had been confirmed.

OPPO hasn’t explicitly revealed the lineup of the Reno 7 series, however, it is expected to comprise a standard and Pro model. The smartphones had debuted in China last November. The upcoming offering will arrive as the successor to the Reno 6 series that launched in July last year. 

The OPPO Reno 7 series launch event will be live streamed on the company’s YouTube channel as well as Twitter handle and Flipkart. Additionally, a landing page of the Reno 7 Pro 5G is live on both OPPO and Flipkart. The upcoming offering is teased to feature industry-first Orbit Breathing Light around the camera module. The smartphone is seen with a boxy form factor and OPPO says that it is the slimmest Reno phone ever measuring 7.45mm thick.

The Reno 7 Pro 5G will feature an aircraft-grade shooting star design with a gradient back panel. OPPO is touting the Reno 7 series with a flagship portrait camera system. It will be equipped with a Sony IMX709 sensor customised by OPPO. On the rear, the device will feature a Sony IMX766 primary lens with a 1/1.56” sensor size.

OPPO Reno 7 series specifications and features 

The Indian variant of the Reno 7 and Pro 5G are expected to come with the same specifications as their Chinese counterparts. The standard and Pro models come with 6.43-inch and 6.55-inch displays with both featuring FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. 

The Reno 7 sports triple rear cameras whereas the Pro model comes with a quad-camera setup. Internally, the standard variant is powered by a Snapdragon 778G whereas the Pro model is equipped with a Dimensity 1200-Max. Both smartphones are backed by a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 65W charging.
