OPPO has teased the launch of a limited edition Reno 8 Pro 5G in India. The smartphone debuted in July this year. Now the Chinese company has teamed up with HBO’s drama series House of Dragon to announce a special edition variant of the device. For those unaware, it is a prequel to the popular HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’. 

OPPO is yet to reveal the exact launch date of the special edition Reno 8 Pro 5G. However, it is confirmed to be available from the e-commerce portal Flipkart.

OPPO Reno 8 Pro House of Dragon Limited Edition teased

OPPO has put up a microsite of the limited edition variant of the Reno 8 Pro on its official website. It reveals key details of the upcoming offering and what interested customers can expect out of the box. 

For starters, the OPPO Reno 8 Pro House of Dragon Limited Edition will come in a Black coloured customised box. It will come with a Dragon Egg collectible, Dragon SIM ejector pin, Dragon emblem phone holder, Targaryen Sigil keychain, and a handwritten seal of approval. All the bundled goodies are in Gold colour except the seal of approval which will come in Black colour. 

Additionally, the Reno 8 Pro House of Dragon Limited Edition will also get a leather textured Black back panel cover. It has a huge protruding camera island and there is a House Targaryen badge. The smartphone could also come with a House of Dragon-inspired UI. 

The rest of the details of the Reno 8 Pro House of Dragon Limited Edition remain a mystery. We can expect the device to come with the same specifications as the regular variant. These include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 8100-Max SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, a 50MP+8MP+2MP camera setup, and a 4,500mAh battery with 80W charging.
