OPPO Reno 8T leaked renders have surfaced, courtesy of reliable tipsters Evan Blass and Snoopy Tech. Reports have revealed that the Reno 8T exists in 4G and 5G versions. The renders shown below belong to the 4G edition of the device.
The Reno 8T 4G was recently spotted on Geekbench, through which its processor, RAM, and OS version were revealed. Tipster Snoopy Tech has leaked the other specs of the device. The new leak reveals that the device will offer key specs like a 90Hz AMOLED display, a 100-megapixel triple camera unit, and a big battery.
OPPO Reno 8T design
As can be seen in the renders, the OPPO Reno 8T will arrive in black and orange colour options. Both variants have a leather textured back with a triple camera unit housed inside dual camera rings. On the front, it features a punch-hole display with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The left side of the device has a SIM slot and volume keys. On the right, it has a power button. A pair of microphones are available on the top and bottom edges. A 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille can also be seen on the bottom edge of the device.
OPPO Reno 8T specifications (rumoured)
The OPPO Reno 8T’s Geekbench listing revealed it is powered by the Helio G99 chipset and 8GB of RAM. The device will come preinstalled with ColorOS 13-based Android 13.
The new leak reveals that the Reno 8T 4G will be equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.
For selfies, the device will be equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. However, it will have a 100-megapixel primary camera on the back. The main snapper will be accompanied by a 2-megapixel micro lens, which can magnify the subject up to 40 times, and a 2-megapixel black-and-white (aka mono) lens. The handset also offers other features like dual stereo speakers and up to 8GB of virtual RAM.
At present, there is no word on the price of the OPPO Reno 8T. What’s known is that the device is heading to the European market and may launch before the end of this month. There is a possibility that the device may get rebranded as the OPPO F23 in India. As far as the F23 series is concerned, it is expected to debut in March this year in India. During this time, the company is also expected to unveil the OPPO Pad 2 tablet and the OPPO Watch 3 smartwatch.
